Arjan Goudsblom is committed to the development and growth of AI startups and scale-ups

Start-ups and scale-ups are a key driver for economic growth, employment and innovative capacity. These young companies renew the economy, invest in research, develop key enabling technologies and are able to rapidly translate them into innovative services and products thereby accelerating the adoption of technologies in organisations (public and private).

Kees van der Klauw, Coalition Manager of the Dutch AI Coalition (NL AIC), is pleased to announce that Arjan Goudsblom, partly due to his role at Techleap, will chair the working group Startups and Scale-ups and has the ambition to support the development and growth of AI startups and scale-ups. Arjan explains: “The potential for Dutch AI startups and scale-ups as an international driver of new, ethically responsible applications is enormous. Educated talent, an entrepreneurial spirit and strong trading networks should provide fertile ground for fast-growing, well-funded AI companies. But figures show that this is not always the case. I see an important role for the Startups & Scale-ups working group within the NL AIC to identify obstacles and jointly, decisively break them down. That is what we stand for!
