Information about building blocks
The Netherlands AI Coalition (NL AIC) collaborates to cover the necessary common knowledge and expertise in five main themes, or building blocks: Human Capital, Research and Innovation, Data Sharing, Human Centric AI and Start-ups and Scale-ups. These common building blocks are essential for ground-breaking impact in social and economic application areas (or sectors), such as Culture and Media, Defense, Energy and Sustainability, Financial Services, Built Environment, Health and Care, Port and Maritime, Agriculture and Food, Mobility, Transport and Logistics, Education, Public Services, Technical Industry, Security, Peace and Law.
Each Building Block has its working group, in which participants tackle cross-sectoral challenges. The working groups are the core source of knowledge and experience by and for their members and decide on their approach based on members’ know-how and experience.
