Women in AI (WAI) is a nonprofit do-tank with 8,000 participants in 140 countries dedicated to inclusive AI for the benefit of global society. WAI empowers women and minorities to become AI and data experts, innovators and leaders. They encourage ethical applications and responsible use of artificial intelligence through teaching, research, educational events, mentoring programs and blogging.
WAI believes it is important for teams building AI applications for the future of our world to embrace as much internal diversity as possible, to create an inclusive AI and accurately portray a multicultural society. Pursuing not only more women in AI, but more diversity in general.
WAI believes in the power of the movement to reduce the gender gap in the AI industry. WAI creates an inspiring place where role models and young women meet and build together on the foundations of fair and inclusive use of AI.
