Artificial Intelligence (AI) is going to change education. AI has an enormous potential to increase the quality of education. But how do we exploit these opportunities for all groups in the education chain? And how do we keep an eye on the social and societal aspects of AI? This can only be achieved in co-creation between education, government, the business community and citizens of the Netherlands.

Kees van der Klauw, coalition manager NL AIC, is very pleased to announce that Jeroen Visscher, Turner’s managing partner, will start as chair of the working group Education. Jeroen Visscher explains: “AI will have a major impact on our education of the future. From the perspective of technological innovation, I think it has enormous potential for the quality of education. The change and ethical aspects that AI will bring for students and teachers, for example, is really exciting. I am happy to accept this challenge”.

Working group

Education is a theme that plays a role in all sectors, in which cooperation between public and private parties is necessary to accelerate AI developments in the Netherlands and to link AI initiatives. Within the working group, participants work together to identify the greatest opportunities and challenges for AI in the field of education, to connect cooperation partners, to work on a programme and its realisation.
