  • Kees van der Klauw, coalition manager of the Dutch AI Coalition (NL AIC)
“The energy transition can’t just be ordinary!”
While the importance of data and data sharing is well-known and essential for meaningful applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in major societal transformations, there is still a significant gap between vision and policy and practical implementation. The former takes place in central governments and organizations, while the latter often requires a purposeful and regional ecosystem. In the presentation, we will discuss how we bring these two aspects together in the Dutch AI Coalition and AI Hub North Netherlands, using examples from the energy sector and more.

  • Peter de Kock, Founder Pandora Intelligence
How AI can be used to mitigate risks and optimize opportunities

  • Tim Verbruggen, Innovation Project Developer & Chris van Yperen, Machine Learning Engineer (Big Data Republic)
Balancing the Power Grid with Machine Learning

  • Anna-Elise Delbecq, Data and AI Northern Europe Leader (IBM)
Unleashing the Power of AI for Businesses

Building blocks

The NL AIC collaborates on the necessary common knowledge and expertise, resulting in five themes, also called building blocks. Those are important for a robust impact in economic and social sectors.

AI is a generic technology that is ultimately applicable in all sectors. For the development of knowledge and experience in the use of AI in the Netherlands, it is essential to focus on specific industries that are relevant to our country. These industries can achieve excellent results, and knowledge and experience that can be leveraged for application in other sectors.

Become a participant

The Netherlands AI Coalition is convinced that active collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders is essential to stimulate and connect initiatives in Artificial Intelligence. Within fields of expertise and with other stakeholders in the ecosystem to achieve the most significant result possible in the development and application of AI in the Netherlands.
